The Beavers picked up a win on the road Friday night, beating the Fairborn Skyhawks 45-21.  The Beavers began the game with a long drive that ended at the Skyhawks 1-yard line when the Beavers were stopped on fourth and short.  On the Skyhawks’ first play from scrimmage, the Beavers’ defense swarmed the ball in the endzone, resulting in a safety and a 2-0 lead.  From that point the night belonged to senior running back Allen Lawrence, who finished with 209 yards rushing, 99 yards receiving, and 3 touchdowns.  The Beavers’ defense also had some exceptional interceptions on the night with diving catches by Tyler Reasoner and Brandon Williams.  Jared Waters also collected his league-leading 5th interception on the season.  The Beavers move to 3-2 on the season and will face Northmont at home next week for Homecoming.  Go Beavers!
