The heavy rains did nothing to slow down the Beavercreek Beavers Friday night, as the Beavers used a strong first half to top the Piqua Indians, 35-13.  The Beavers scored on all four of their first half possessions, racking up over 300 yards rushing in the first half and taking a 28-0 halftime lead.  Allen Lawrence and Airius Moore led the first-half charge with two touchdowns each, including a spectacular 24-yard run by Lawrence breaking tackles and weaving through the Piqua defense on his way to a score.  Beavercreek finished with 523 yards on the ground, led by quarterback Mike Berry’s 159 yards and Lawrence’s 147 yards.  The Beavercreek defense was also dominating, with Justin Eby finishing the game with 1.5 sacks, 6 tackles, and delivering several big hits.  Airius Moore chipped in with 9 tackles on the night, bringing his team-leading total to 31 tackles on the year.  The Beavers even their record at 2-2 and travel to Fairborn next week to face the Skyhawks.
