The Beavercreek Beavers dropped their 2013 home opener to Hilliard Davidson 35-7 Friday night.  The Wildcats scored on their opening possession and tacked on a second-quarter touchdown to lead 14-0 at the half.  Davidson used an agressive defense to keep the Beavers out of Wildcat territory until late in the second half.  Beavercreek gambled on fourth and short from its own 38 yard line, coming up short.  Hilliard quickly capitalized with a 35-yard touchdown pass to a wide open receiver, taking a 28-0 lead.  The Wildcats would extend the lead to 35-0 after a 90-yard fumble return for a touchdown.  The Beavers got on the board in the fourth quarter with a 40-yard scoring run by David Tipton.  The Beavers fall to 1-2 and will be at home against Piqua on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 PM.  Go Beavers!
