The Beavers (3-4) hit the road on Friday to take on the Springfield Wildcats (1-6).  Both teams are looking for a win in GWOC Central play.  The Beavers look to rebound from a 14-10 setback to Wayne, while the Wildcats are looking for their first “on the field” win of the season.  Springfield’s lone win of the year was a week 1 forfeit by Trotwood, a game in which Trotwood won 42-0.  The Wildcats have struggled offensively, averaging only 13 points per game and 135 yards of offense, but are led by senior wideout Thaddeus Snodgrass who comes into the game with 11 catches and 2 TDs on the season, including an 86-yard touchdown catch against Sycamore.  The Beavers’ defense has been its strength, allowing opponents an average of 221 yards of offense and 18 points per game.  Offensively, the Beavers are led by senior running back Allen Lawrence, who is currently fifth in the GWOC in rushing yards with 759 on the season.  Game time is 7:00 pm.  Go Beavers!
