Beavercreek travels to Springboro Friday night to take on the Panthers.  This is the first meeting between the two schools as GWOC opponents.  Springboro enters the game at 2-1 and fresh off a 44-0 pounding of Franklin last week.   Once again the Beavers will face a pass-oriented offense that is averaging 192 passing and 139 rushing yards per game.  The Panthers are lead by junior quarterback Elijah Cunningham (5 TD, 3 INT) and senior running back Devon Henry (231 yards, 1 TD).  Springboro ranks #6 in total offense in the GWOC while Beavercreek is toward the bottom on the conference in pass defense.

The Beavers (1-2) are also coming off a win last week after beating Fairborn 33-21.  The Beavers enter the game with the #1 rushing offense in the GWOC (#2 overall offense), averaging 357 yards per game on the ground.   Junior running back Tim Bradshaw is averaging 199 rushing yards per game in the two games he has played, with senior quarterback Logan Turben pitching in another 78 yards rushing per game.  The challenge for the Beavers will be staying healthy.  Bradshaw, after opening the season with 127 yards against Xenia, sat out the second game of the season with injury.  His replacement, junior Stone Kincer, filled in with 127 yards and two scores in a losing effort against Carroll.  Kincer missed the Fairborn game with injury, but Bradshaw was back in a big way, running wild over the Skyhawks (271 yards, 4 TD).  With a healthy backfield, the Beavers may be able to challenge a Springboro defense that has been tough against the run this season.
