Fairmont broke a four-game losing streak to visiting Beavercreek with a 42-27 win Friday night.  Beavercreek jumped out to an early 13-0 lead and had another drive stall out of a fourth and goal from the Firebird 2 yard line before Fairmont finally got on the board with a 52-yard TD pass.  Fairmont then took the lead at 14-13 with just over 3:00 minutes left in the half.  The Firebirds stopped the Beavers and following a failed fake punt around mid field, the Firebirds began to drive.  With a fourth down from the Beavercreek 12 yard line, Fairmont scored on its final play of the half on a scramble pass as Fairmont QB Jared Murphy found a wide-open receiver in the endzone for the score and a 21-13 halftime lead.  Beavercreek cut the lead to 21-19 but would get no closer as Fairmont matched every Beaver score after that point.  For the Beavers, Tim Bradshaw scored three times, two on the ground and a 75-yard score off a screen pass, finishing with 66 yards rushing and 75 yards receiving.  Logan Turben lead the Beavers on the ground with 123 yards.  The Beavers rushed for 263 yards against a solid Firebird defense.  Defensively, Alex Bush stopped a Firebird drive with a key interception and returned it 51 yards to deep in Fairmont territory to set up a Beavercreek score.  The Beavers finish the season 3-7.
