There is a tremendous amount of excitement in Beavercreek as the 2-0 Beavers open their home schedule against Fairborn on Friday night.  Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.  The Beavers enter the game as the top-ranked rushing offense in the GWOC, averaging over 342 yards per game.  That attack has been led by senior Tim Bradshaw, who last year torched Fairborn with 271 yards and 4 touchdowns in Beavercreek’s 33-21 win.  The Beavers will look to repeat that success Friday night, but this year the Beavers also bring one of the top ranked rushing defenses with them.  Through two games, the Beavers have allowed just 48 rushing yards and rank second in the GWOC in that category.

Fairborn enters the game at 1-1, having beaten Tecumseh in their opener but losing to Stebbins last week 20-14.  Fairborn has not beaten Beavercreek since an overtime 13-10 thriller in 2009.

KEYS TO THE GAME: Fairborn will be challenged to stop Beavercreek’s high-octane rushing attack.  The Skyhawks’ defense is allowing 260 rushing yards per game.  Beavercreek has yet to turn the ball over this season and has won the turnover battle in both of its first two games.  The Skyhawks bring in a balanced attack, passing for 170 yards and rushing for 154 yards per game.  Look for Beavercreek to take away the run and force the Skyhawks to the air.  The home crowd could be the difference here — it should be a crazy atmosphere in Beavercreek.  Go Beavers!
