Beavercreek took to the road Friday night looking to end a three-game losing streak at Miamisburg.  The Vikings entered the game 6-2 on the season, tied for the GWOC National West lead, and still in the hunt for a playoff spot.  Miamisburg got off to a good start, scoring twice in the first quarter on two short TD runs to take a 14-0 lead, a margin they would also take into halftime.  The Beavers fought back in the second half, cutting the lead to 14-7 on Kaden Wenger’s 40-yard touchdown scamper.  But the Beavers would not score again.  Miamisburg added two Tony Clark touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to seal the victory, 28-7.  Clark scored three times for the Vikings.

The Beavers have now lost four in a row and five of their last six games.  During the skid, the Beavers have struggled to run the football against stiffer competition.  Against Miamisburg, the Beavers were held to 106 yards rushing and 140 total yards.  They have also struggled with 13 turnovers in the past four games, all losses.  Beavercreek will be back home on Friday, October 28th to face Centerville.  Both teams enter the game at 4-5 and will be looking to end the season on a good note.  Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.
