Friday night will be Senior Night at Beavercreek as a talented senior class will play their final regular season home game as the Miamisburg Vikings come to town.  The Beavers are looking to end a three-game skid as both teams still hold out slim playoff hopes.  Beavercreek comes into the game at 5-3 and fresh off a 64-28 blowout loss to Springfield a week ago.  Miamisburg limps in at 4-4 after beating Lebanon 24-13.

Miamisburg poses an offensive threat for Beavercreek, as the Vikings bring a balanced attack that puts up 409 yards per game (240 rush, 169 pass), 4th in the GWOC offensively.  Beavercreek is 6th at 386 yards per game (331 rush, 55 pass).  The difference could be on defense where the Beavers (2nd overall in the GWOC) only allow an average of 233 per game (110 rush, 123 pass) while the Vikings give up over 334 yards per game (225 rush, 109 pass), 10th in the GWOC.

Senior Kaden Wenger has rushed for 1,240 yards on the season and has a great chance of surpassing 1,500.  The Beavers can send their seniors out with a win if they can avoid giving the Vikings short fields through turnovers or special teams’ mishaps.  Creek should be able to run the ball on the Vikings’ defense and control the tempo of the game. The two teams met a year ago with Miamisburg prevailing 28-7.  Go Beavers!
