Kerry Davis
Head Coach – Freshmen Football – is entering his 5th season as a Beavercreek Football Coach. Spent two years coaching at the 7th and 8th grade level before moving up with the Freshmen in 2007. Coach Davis is a 1973 graduate of Beavercreek High School where he played football, baseball and wrestled. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio University where he was a 3-year starter on The Ohio University Rugby Team and a starter on the 1977 Ohio University Mid-American Conference Championship Rugby Team. Coach Davis and his wife Karen live in Beavercreek with their two children, Kerrianne and Kurtis.
Greg Clark
Assistant Freshmen Coach - is a 2004 graduate of BHS, where he lettered in football and wrestling. After graduation, he attended Wilmington College and played football for two years. He transferred to Sinclair Community College in 2006 and in the spring of 2008 transferred to Wright State to continue a degree in Health and Physical Education. Currently Coach Clark is working as a part-time personal trainer at Personally Fit and full time as a carrier for Jewelry and Gem Exchange in Moraine. This is Coach Clark’s fourth year on the football staff.
Mike Covey
Volunteer Coach, Freshmen Football - begins his fourth at BHS. He has coached five years in the Eager Beaver organization and at the eighth grade level. Coach Mike is a 1966 graduate of Stivers High School where he played football and basketball for four years, and was a member of the golf team for two years. He is retired from Franciscan Medical Center. Coach Mike and his wife Peggy Sue have been married 27 years and have three sons. He is director of the Beavercreek Basketball Association, a program he founded 15 years ago, which is open to boys and girls in grades three through six.
Troy Hooker
Volunteer Coach, Freshmen Football– begins his first year coaching with the Beavers. Coach Hooker is a 1993 graduate of Byron Center High School in Byron Center, Michigan, where he played football and wrestled, helping bring many conference titles to the program. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in History/International Studies at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is now attending Wright State for his Masters in Education. He also teaches Spanish and Technology part time for East Dayton Christian School. Coach Hooker is a resident of Beavercreek.

Volunteer Coach, Freshmen Football
TJ Smart
Offensive/Defensive Line Coach, Freshmen Football – is entering his fi rst season as a Beavercreek Coach. Coach Smart is a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School where he played Football and threw shot put in indoor and outdoor track. He currently attends Wright State University and is majoring in Organizational Leadership. He also leads Young Life at Beavercreek and currently resides in Kettering.
