This is Bill Shancey’s first year as the eighth grade football head coach. Bill spent the previous two years as the defensive coordinator for the Beavercreek freshman football team. He has more than eleven years experience coaching youth sports including football, basketball, baseball and softball. Bill also has extensive experience in the area of strength training. Bill is a Pittsburgh PA native and a graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Math / Computer Science. He is currently an O.G.T. and Math Tutor at Beavercreek High School as well as a Math Teacher and Tutor in the Upward Bound Program at Sinclair Community College. Bill has lived in Beavercreek for the past seven years with his wife and two children.
Jeremy Clingner
Coach Clingner is a resident of Beavercreek in his second year coaching with the Beavercreek Football Program (previously coaching at the varsity level). Jeremy is a graduate of Beavercreek High School where he played football under Coach Gary Martin and Dave Miller Sr., and wrestled under coach Gary Wise. While at BHS, Jeremy received numerous awards for football including two time All League and All Southwest honors, as well as Team MVP and the Paul Martin Award. After high school, Jeremy attended Wilmington College where he graduated from in 2007 while playing football for four years and wrestling for three. Currently, Jeremy is working on his Masters in Special Education which he will complete this fall while student teaching at BHS.

Mike Russ Offensive Coordinator for 8th grade.
Coach Russ is a 1983 graduate of Harvard High School where he was a Varsity letter winner in football, baseball, and basketball. Following high school, he joined the United States Air Force and continued his athletic endeavors by participating in football, softball, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and indoor soccer throughout his 23 year military career. His coaching career began while in the military by coaching football and softball for several years. He moved to Beavercreek in 2002 and began coaching in the community. In 2004, he started coaching in the Eager Beaver football program as a defensive coordinator and was selected as the 8th grade offensive coordinator in 2009. He also coached in the Beavercreek Community Athletic Association baseball program for 4 years, and coached in the Beavercreek Basketball Association for the past 5 years. Mike currently works as a Security Analyst for BAE Systems at Wright Patterson AFB, Oh. Coach Russ currently lives in Beavercreek with his wife Penny and their 3 children.
7th Grade Head Coach
Kristian Willetts Head Coach 7th grade.
Coach Willetts is a 1989 graduate of Greenville High School where he was a Varsity letter winner in football and track. Following high school he continued his athletic pursuits and went on to become a Varsity letter winner in football and track at Manchester College. He later transferred and graduated from Park University in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Management\Computer Information Systems. His coaching career began in 2001 as a Defensive Assistant Coach for the Eager Beaver Football club. In 2002 he became the Offensive Coordinator where he remained until accepting the 7th Grade Head Coaching position in 2005. Coach Willetts became the 8th grade head coach in 2007 and moved to the 7th grade team in 2008. He has held both the Coaches Representative and Members Representative positions on the Eager Beaver Football Club Board of Directors. Kristian currently works as a Software Engineer for Standard Register. Coach Willetts resides in Beavercreek with his wife Amy and their two children.
