Area football poll for Week 4

DIVISION I

1. Beavercreek (3-0): Let the debate begin. All the Beavers have to do to keep the top spot is run the GWOC Central table.

2. Centerville (2-1): A tough-luck loss to Moeller, but can’t justify maintaining the No. 1 spot after a loss.

3. Wayne (2-1): Two words, Cleveland Glenville.

4. Springboro (3-0): Panthers are in position to have a great season.

5. Northmont (1-2): T-Bolts have to prove that 20-0 lead at Cleveland St. Ignatius wasn’t the season highlight.
DIVISION II

1. Tecumseh (3-0): It’s never too early to point to a season-ending showdown with CBC rival Bellefontaine.

2. West Carrollton (3-0): Two-season win streak is at seven.

3. Trotwood-Madison (2-1): Rams’ running game has been unstoppable last two weeks.

4. Wilmington (2-1): Quakers should find out if they’re worthy of top 5 after visiting Edgewood.

5. Sidney (1-2): Yellow Jackets get points for somewhat hanging with Beavercreek last week.
DIVISION III

1. Bellefontaine (3-0): It’s never too early to point to a season-ending showdown with CBC rival Tecumseh.

2. Chaminade Julienne (2-1): Eagles got well against Ponitz Tech.

3. Graham (2-1): Move over wrestling and boys hoop programs.

4. Eaton (2-1): Only loss is to unbeaten St. Henry.

5. Monroe (2-1): Valley View can confirm the Hornets’ sting.
DIVISION IV

1. Alter (3-0): Someone start the countdown clock to next season’s showdown at Centerville.

2. Marshall (3-0): Cougars boast the best wing-T in the state.

3. Clinton-Massie (3-0): Last two wins are by a combined five points.

4. Fenwick (3-0): The Falcons magic is back, at least for three games.

5. Carlisle (3-0): Indians have been impressive and have major test today vs. Waynesville.
DIVISION V

1. Coldwater (3-0): Cavs get major MAC test at Marion Local.

2. Anna (3-0): Hard to believe Rockets are only in their 10th football season.

3. St. Henry (3-0): Redskins have their own MAC showdown at Versailles.

4. West Liberty-Salem (3-0): Tigers can’t look ahead to next week’s OHC showdown with Southeastern.

5. Versailles (2-1): Tigers will find out how much they’ve rebounded from recent seasons by hosting St. Henry.
DIVISION VI

1. Marion Local (3-0): Flyers get major MAC test by hosting Coldwater.

2. Fort Loramie (3-0): Redskins have won their last two games by a combined 10 points.

3. Ansonia (3-0): Tigers only unbeaten team left in the CCC.

4. Southeastern (3-0): Trojans mustn’t look ahead to next week’s OHC showdown with West Liberty-Salem.

5. Mississinawa Valley (2-1): Need to recover from a loss to Miami East.
