Head Coach of the Beavers
since 2004 . . . A 1988 graduate of Bethel High School, he
was a Varsity letter winner in football, basketball and
baseball. He was All-Ohio in all three sports and was
inducted into the Bethel High School Athletic Hall of Fame in
2004. Scott graduated from Wright State University in 1993
with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education /
Health. His teaching program began in the Springfield City
School District in 1993. He moved to the New Lebanon
School District in 1996 where he served as Head Football Coach
at Dixie High School in 1997. In 1998, Coach Clodfelter
began teaching at Fairmont for 9 years. In 2003, Scott was
Offensive Coordinator at Springfield North High School. He
received his Masters in Educational Leadership from the
University of Dayton in 2001. Coach Clodfelter resides in Tipp
City with his wife Susan and their three children.
This will be Heath Feldman's
4th season at Beavercreek. This season he is the assistant head
coach, special teams coordinator, and quarterbacks coach. Coach
Feldman is a graduate of Brush High School in Cleveland where he
was a two year starter at quarterback and a member of two
consecutive league championship basketball teams. He earned his
Bachelors Degree in Education from Miami University in Oxford
and is currently working towards a Masters of Arts Degree in
Teaching. Heath has 17 prior years of experience coaching
varsity football. Coach Feldman and his wife Jen live in
Springboro with their three children Alex (9), Emma (6), and Sam
(3).
Coach
Miller is beginning his 36th year of coaching football. He is
the Beaver assistant coach. In the 36 year period Coach
Miller has served as varsity assistant at Fairmont West High
School, Centerville High School, Twin Valley South High School,
and BHS. Coach Miller also served as head football coach at
Piqua High School and Beavercreek. In addition, he served as
head football coach at two highly successful semi-pro teams in
the Dayton area. In Coach Miller’s 36 years of coaching, he has
had the pleasure of coaching numerous All-League, All-Area, and
All-State football players. He has coached in two All-Star games
and was selected as Assistant Coach of the Year in 1999. Coach
Miller received his undergraduate degree in Social Studies
Comprehensive from Wright State University. He received his
Masters of Education from the University of Dayton. He enjoys
working with students as a counselor at BHS. Coach Miller has
two children: Dave Jr. (head football coach at Covington High
School) and Sarah. Coach Miller’s wife, Robin, is very involved
with his coaching and helps him on the sideline.
A 1998
graduate of Beavercreek High School, Coach Tritschler is
entering his fourth season with the Beavers. Coach Tritschler
coaches the offensive line, is the strength and conditioning
coach and is the head JV coach and the JV offensive coordinator.
At Beavercreek, Coach Tritschler was a three year varsity letter
winner in football, and a four year varsity letter winner in
track and field. Coach Tritschler graduated from Wright State
University and is currently teaching at BHS as an intervention
specialist. Coach Tritschler began his coaching career in 1998
at Greeneview High School in Jamestown, and later coached in the
middle school program for Beavercreek. He served as the
assistant varsity offensive line coach at Fairmont before
joining Coach Clodfelter’s staff in 2004. In addition to
football, Coach Tritschler has coached track and field for eight
years, including three seasons at Ferguson Middle School, one
season at BHS, one season as head coach of Spinning Hills Middle
School, and three seasons as varsity throwing coach for
Fairmont. Coach Tritschler and his beautiful wife Kelli, also a
1998 graduate of BHS, reside in Belmont with their daughter
Kayla.
Coach
Smitherman is returning for his third term coaching at
Beavercreek, this year as an assistant coach. He graduated in
1986 from South Lakes High School in Virginia where he won two
back to back league titles in football. Coach Smitherman
attended and played football at Central State University. He
started coaching football at Francis C. Hammond in Virginia, and
then moved to Ohio where he played seven years of semi-pro
football. Coach Smitherman coached at Twin Valley South for 4
1/2 years where they won back to back CCC championships. Coach
Smitherman has one daughter, Chloe (4).
Greg Clark is
the Beaver receivers coach. Coach Clark is a 2004 graduate
of Beavercreek High School where he lettered in football and
wrestling. After graduation he attended Wilmington College
and played football for two years. He transferred to
Sinclair Community College in 2006 to continue working on a
physical education degree which he plans to finish at Wright
State University. Currently Coach Clark is working as a
personal trainer for "Personally Fit". This is
Greg's second year on the football staff.
Chad
Barlow is entering his fourth season with the
Beavercreek Beavers. This year he is working as the running
backs coach. Coach Barlow is a 2000 graduate of Kettering
Fairmont High School where he played four years of football and
baseball. Chad is a senior at Wright State University where he
is earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education
& Health. Coach Barlow is also a high school and college
official for basketball and baseball.
Coach Wise
is in his fourth season coaching at Beavercreek High School. He
is the varsity defensive line coach and the JV defensive
coordinator. Coach Wise began his coaching career at
Bethel Middle School. He graduated from Bethel High School
where he was a four year letter winner, two year all-league, and
two year all area in football. He was a three year letter winner
in baseball. Coach Wise earned his Bachelors degree from Urbana
University.
This is
Coach Will’s
second
season as a Beaver football coach. This year he is working
as a
receivers coach.
Coach Will is a 2002 graduate of Bellbrook High School who
received a degree in Education from Ohio University. Coach Will
teaches
eighth
grade math
at Ankeney Middle School.
