Scott Clodfelter, Varsity Head Coach

Scott Clodfelter- Head Coach- is entering his eighth year as the Head Coach of the Battlin’ Beavers. He is a 1988 graduate of Bethel High School, he was a varsity letter winner in football, basketball, and baseball. He was named All-Ohio in all three sports and also inducted into the Bethel High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. Coach Clodfelter graduated from Wright State University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education and Health. He received his Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton in 2001. Coach Clodfelter began his teaching career in 1993 in the Springfield City School District. In 1996 he moved to the New Lebanon School District, where he served as the Head Football Coach of Dixie High School in 1997. In 1998, Coach Clodfelter continued his career at Kettering Fairmont High School as a Teacher and Assistant Football Coach for 9 years. In 2006 and 2007 Coach Clodfelter was named GWOC Coach of the Year. In 2008 he served as the Head Football Coach of the Miami Valley North-South All Star game. Coach guided the South to a victory, it was the first victory for the South in 17 years.  Scott and his wife Susan reside in Tipp City with their three children, Kaitlyn, Carly, and Kendall.

Coach Butch Snider

Coach Snider is entering his 17th season of coaching, his 5th at Beavercreek.  Coach Snider is a former member of the Beavercreek Football Team (Class of ’94).  He also played Semi-Pro Football after graduation for Coach Dave Miller, Sr (former Head Coach of the Beavers and member of the 2011 coaching staff).  He has coached several different places over the years and has served as a Head Coach from 2006-2007 (Cedarville High School).  Coach Snider teaches both Health and Physical Education here at the High School.  He resides in Beavercreek with his wife Jennifer and their two sons Luke and Grant.

 

Coach Kerry Davis

Coach Kerry Davis is in his 7th season as a Beavercreek Football Coach.  This season he is an Assistant Varsity Coach for Defensive Backs and the Head Junior Varsity (JV) Coach.  Coach Davis is a 1973 graduate of Beavercreek High School where he played football, baseball and wrestled.  He earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio University where he was a 3 year starter on The
Ohio University Rugby Team who were the 1977 Ohio University Mid-American Conference Champions.

In Kerry’s seven years at Beavercreek he was the 7th Grade Assistant Coach, 8th Grade Head Coach, two years as an Assistant Freshman Coach, two years as Head Freshman Coach and this is his first season as an Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Davis and his wife Karen live in  eavercreek
and have two children, Kerrianne and Kurtis.

 

Coach TJ Smart

Coach Smart is entering his third season as a Beavercreek Football Coach. Coach Smart is a graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School
where he played football, wrestled, and threw shot put in indoor and outdoor track.  In addition to coaching football, Coach Smart works as a Special Education Assistant as well as a Athletic Site Manager at BHS.  Coach Smart is also a member of the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association (MVFCA), as well as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). He currently resides in Beavercreek.

 

Coach Clint Bartlett

Coach Bartlett is in his first Year Coaching at Beavercreek High School.  Coach Bartlett has spent the last four years Coaching at Carroll High
School under his father Steve Bartlett.  He is 24 years old and currently resides in Dayton, Ohio with his fiancé/Wife Katie and  dog Ace .  He will graduate from Wright State University in the summer of 2011 with a degree in Social Science Education and promptly begin the Masters of Education program at Wright State University.  He attended Carroll High School and graduated in 2006. He was a member of the football team all four years including the two-State Semi Final teams his Junior and Senior Year.  He played one year of college football at Earlham College, before leaving the team and returning to complete his education in Dayton.

 

Coach Jeff McMillan

This is Coach McMillan’s first year on the Beavercreek High School staff.  Coach McMillan is a 1983 graduate of Beavercreek High School, played for Coach Place & Coach Foley. Coach McMillan has fifteen years of football coaching experience. The highest level coached was at the NCAA level.

Following Coach McMillan’s graduation from Beavercreek, he enlisted into the United States Army, where he got his coaching career started. He coached in the German & American Football League while serving in Germany.  He left the military in 1986, and coached at Carroll High School before moving to New York in 1997. He coached two seasons at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Buffalo prior to being hired by Canisius College. Coach McMillan coached there for one season prior to the college dropping the football program. From there he was hired by Erie
Community College, ranked in the top 5 in the nation. He was coaching there when the tragic events occurred in New York City, September 11. He had been serving in the National Guard since his discharge in 1986. After the attacks of 9-11, he quit his job & coaching to reenlist into the active Army.  He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was discharged from the military on October 8, 2010 and moved back to Beavercreek the same day.

Coach McMillan is excited to be back at Beavercreek High School to coach the sport he loves.

 

Coach Brad Woods

Coach Woods is entering his first season as a varsity football coach with the Beavers. He is a 2008 graduate of Beavercreek High School and helped to lead the Beavers to their first winning season since the 80s. He was the 2007 Most Improved Offensive Lineman for Beavercreek football. Coach Woods graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Mental Health Technology and
Chemical Dependency on June 10th, 2011. He spent the 2008 and 2009 football seasons coaching back to back undefeated 7th grade football
teams for Beavercreek Middle Schools. In 2010 he was a coach for Beavercreek’s undefeated 8th grade football team.

 

Coach Pete Ankrom

Coach Ankrom is in his second year as the linebackers coach with Beavercreek High School. At the high school, he will also be in his second year teaching Contemporary History and Government. Pete graduated from Capital University in 2009 where he played football for four years under head coaches Jim Collins and Jim Bickel. After graduation, he was the assistant linebackers coach for a year at Capital before coming to Beavercreek.

 

Coach Aaron Carnes

Third year coaching Beavercreek football.  Assistant middle school coach 2009 and 2010 undefeated seasons.  2009 graduate of Beavercreek.  3 years varsity football letterman with 10 years playing experience.  Junior at Wright State University majoring in Physical Education/Special Needs Education.
